▲▲▲ Unfortunately Warm Brains have had to cancel for tomorrow's show, as Rory Attwell from the band is recording the next Male Bonding single, after their session was cancelled last week due to the riots. The Lucid Dream have had to cancel too, as Drummer Luke Anderson is injured and cannot play. Get well soon Luke. ▲▲▲
We'll try our best to get them both playing at a future Idle Fret show.
Thanks go to Phosphor and Player Piano for stepping in as replacements at short notice, so we didn't have to cancel the show.

The Focussed Distraction is one man band Jon McLeod. With the aid of a guitar, looper and various effects modules, he creates a scenario of enchanting and unique sounds whilst looping melodic and rhythmic layers. Electronic and acoustic, forward thinking music with D.I.Y pop sensibilities.
BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and BBC 6Music’s Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson are fans and all have played The Focussed Distraction on their shows.
Phosphor play Fuzzy Droney Psychedelic Dreamgaze.
Player Piano is the bastardmusiclovechild of Jeremy Radway, a refugee from Indianapolis, IN, USA (home of Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., after whose first published book the group was named). If it were possible for a Billy Joel or a 70's Lennon or a Jeff Lynne or a Todd Rundgren to come back today to work within the rusty confines of a penniless DIY-er, the results might be somewhere in the neighborhood of Mr. Radway's and his cohorts' efforts. It is the quest for "The Ultimate Song" that drives Radway forward, hoping to someday cure all manner of the world's ills with just the right sequence of chords, verse, middle 8, atonal guitar solo and esoteric world-music-y throat-singing bit... Progressive Psychedelic Soul.
