This song is inspired by our visits to Venice and fears that it may sink
into the lagoon, condemning La Serenissima to legendary status as a second Atlantis. Somehow we doubt even the planned Mose project can hold back the seas, so this song is as much as the inevitability and
panic of decline as it is about acqua alta.
